Groundhog Day

Yes yes yes. I know. Groundhog Day is in February and we are still in December of 2010. These few days since the blizzard (or storm of the century as it seems) have been rote to say the least. Since our side roads are horrendous, I've been stuck at home. Each day is being like a monotonous task, except I had the excitment of dealing with an almost 2 year old who wasnt feeling well. So in between my drone like checklist items, I've been doing more laundry than the local wash-n-dry.

I am seriously looking forward to a weekend that will include actual things to do outside of my home...but for now, I'm going to curl up on the couch with a cup of tea and try to enjoy the silence of a 2year old (almost) who is napping :)
